Activities!

So for Lexie the days were now spent watching me unpack boxes and organise.
Abit boring for a 2yo,so what better chance then to crack open the painting board she got for her birthday!
Our little artist in her very over sized paint shirt, "mmmmmmmmmm l think l have made green" Keep up the good work princess!
Note to self,
when unpacking boxes, watch Lexie, she finds some very strange things!

The Truck Arrives!

Although the house was not yet "formally" settled we were still able to move in on Saturday the 28th.
With a "POP",the doors opened and the unpacking began. Bring it on! Didn't take long and the truck was empty, that's because everything was dumped....
inside
Lexie's efforts to enjoy what was a boring day for her.
At least she found Daddy's boxer's
"What a lovely dress!"

On the Way Down!

So we started our happy trails down south on the Sunday morning.
Our first stop, Moree. A good chance to have a rest and spend time with others we love and are going to miss, and of course use unrestricted water and play in grass, something in which we will not have for a while.
Lexie enjoying washing the car with Dad Poppy joined Lexie and l on our trip down to Echuca. It was extremely helpful having another driver and another Lexie entertainer in the car.Great playschool sing-alongs were had! We had our first stop in Parkes, where we stayed the night. No stop in Parkes can go by without a visit to the "DISH" The next day we arrived at our destination,ECHUCA. Lexie and Poppy having a rest in the motel room, after all that driving.

The Help!

We were VERY blessed in that Tamara,Lindsay,Ryan and Zachary came across on both the Thursday and Friday to help us with the move.
There wasn't alot that we could all do whilst the removalists were there, so the fast food outlets and their playgrounds got a good workout.
MILK BAR
The last night with the "Jobbo's"
Thanks again Tams and Lindsay, it meant alot and we can't wait to see you again real soon!

Packing Up!

The early hours of a Thursday morning,we were up and ready to go...
Ready for the invasion of men to come and take all our belongings away.
l am at blood a "Smith" and in good spirit l had kept this flower arrangement that was given to me from Mum and Dad for my 25th birthday.
Now the time had come, along with others things, to say goodbye to it (l dont think it would have travelled too well down south.) Thanks anyway M+D!
Rooms so full of boxes that l think Lexie was dreaming of them all night long The house went from this.........................
To this, in a matter of hours.
