Baby Joey, 20-23wks!

Well l'm 23weeks now and "Baby Joey" is growing along nicely.
Apart from Nathan proclaiming that l'm eating too many pie's, it's nice to see and feel the blessing inside!

Our 20week scan

Lexie loves "tickling" my belly as when she does it sometimes he/she kicks her back.
So much fun sharing it with her, even if she does ask every day if "baby joey coming out today?"

Farm Trip!

We went to the farm on the weekend to finally pick up Tyson from his holiday.
Also it was a good opportunity to meet the new little Altus, Benjamin Glen and see their new home renovation's.
We had a lovely morning with Simon, Helen and Jacqui.
Matt, Kara, Jack, Laura and Toby also come out for another catch-up.
Thanks again to Simon who kindly gave us some bricks he had left over from their house reno's whilst we were there. You Champ!!
Between the battle's, Jacqui and Lexie loved the cake that Helen made for us. The newest big sister herself
Jack holding the door up
Morning chitty-chat in the new kitchen
Saturday night Leon and Angela were off to the cocktail party for the School Reunion of Bordertown High.
Even though Leon didn't go there he was still able to take the Belle of the ball.
(they were like two little school kids getting this picture taken)
On the way home Sunday we decided to stop and take these picture's of the Wimmera River flowing. This was apparently a first for Nathan so very exciting. All the beautiful rain has made such a difference. Let's hope there is more to come.
Our dinner break for the evening was in Donald. (Home of the "Kooka" biscuits Dad)
We found a great park which had a fab play equipment set up and a train just like "Thomas" that Lexie could stretch her legs out on.
Lexie is just "abit" excited
Maybe a future train driver

So the Heinrich reunion was on in Rutherglen on the weekend and Cassie and Dave were very kind in giving us Heinrich's a piece of lawn each for us to pitch our tent's and camper's.
For me this was my first attempt "camping" and even though it was made clear that this is nothing,l'm glad l survived and we enjoyed such a great time with family!
The early morning's and chilly nights were all bearable Our humble abode

Ma Ma and Lexie saying hello to Benny the horse.
Jack not so keen on it

Thank you again to all for a wonderful weekend. We look forward to the next one where ever it may be and when!!
We wouldn't miss it for the world

Tom's Birthday!

We spent a Sunday afternoon out on a friends farm and helping to celebrate their son,Tom's 1st birthday.
The theme was "Up in the Clouds" and alot of effort was put in with food and decorations. The home looked amazing and all the children invited had alot of fun! (even the Dad's too)
The birthday boy Tom
The decorated "cloud"ceiling Lexie and Shyanna with their lollies All children hard at it eating as many chips and lollies as possible. l am so proud of Lexie as she left alot of lollies behind on her plate.
The big boy's had fun too as l mentioned.
Cam,Shyanna's dad reminding himself how fun trampolines can be.......
and after turns on that it was time to do some shooting
Nath trying to hit the targets.........
and again trying. Not alot of luck unfortunately Play time and Lexie's turn on the tramp
Jumping castle
"Pass the parcel" time and as you can see a very excited Lexie
Present time and Tom opening up our present which was the much loved "Duplo"
The best group shot we could get.
L-R Jack, Brody, Brooke, Lexie, Anna ,Gianne, Shyanna ,lndiya and Tom in front
Pinata time
Cake time, and yes that is blue food dye icing
l did ask that a piece was not available for Lexie to eat there and then but some how she scored a piece
And loved every month full!
l just don't think giving blue icing to children at 8pm at night is such a great thing. At least it wasn't for Lexie we don't think
Bless our dear friend Jess who saw our struggles with Lexie and took some pic's of us trying to stop blue icing from going "everywhere"
Much to Lexie's disgust,it was pretty funny though.Thank goodness it did come off her clothes after alot of preen and soaking Our other very dear friend's Matt and Chris Handby along with their two beautiful children Brody and Brooke have left us bound for Melbourne. Though it is not far away it has been nice catching up with Chris every Thursday for Swimming and lunch in the park.
You will be missed guy's but not forgotten!
The party was their last "hooray" with us all and family before leaving!
