Happy Christmas!

May you be richly blessed in where you spend Christmas and may 2011 bring you happiness and health xoxoxox

Wet Weather!

With all this rain we have had, the river's are up up up! So we hired a "tinny" for a few hour's and hung with the paddle steamer's, cruised the mighty Murray and Campaspe.

We the parked the sheet of tin by the park not far from our house. It took us 45min to get their by boat, when usually 5min by car
With the rain came ALOT of locusts, this is a bowling green covered in the pests
The rains are coming.....

Christmas is Coming!

Well it is almost here!!! Count down on and time to get super organised. Alot has been going on and here are some of the randoms of the month. Enjoy!!
Lexie has been busy painting and beading.
what a poser....
Mitchell has been busy too...being LOUD.
and making a mess eating.
Time to put up the Christmas Tree/decorations. Being Mitchell's first Christmas we thought he might look abit more thrilled but not so....
"Do you blame me?"
B.E.A.UTIFUL
We had a Christmas shin-dig with friend's Saturday night and had a brilliant night.
Time to "cut" and Tim and Kate were kind enough to bring the Christmas turkey, but not a normal turkey, one they stuffed with pork, veal, apricot and fig.Great Job guy's!!!
Poor Mitchell hoping he isn't next
Nathan showing off MY dessert,a chocolate ice-cream cake with turkish delight and peppermint ice-cream.mmmmmm
Bath time for the kiddies before we all sit and watch the carol's on TV. This was Lexie's attempt of making Mitchell look like Mary.
l think she looks like a better Mary, complete with baby Jesus
We had a Children's carol's night on Sunday at the church which l led. The kid's loved the singing, story, puppets and presents they got. You can see Mitchell got side tracked by a girl..deary me.

Lexie's Birthday!

So in the household now we have a little girl who is so thrilled to have turned 4 that the world is her oyster, well so she believes. The announcement of what she can now do was extensive in her eye's and the only thing missing l think was driving a car.Lol. It turned out to be bigger then she thought with lot's of family, friend's,trains and ponies.
Matt,Kara,Jack and Will came across for the day on the Saturday and after alot of patience from Jack, the Train set was out and assembled.
Princess Lexie who had to wear the dress all day,at time's it did get in the way of the track's and in the boy's faces. Thanks Nanny for that one!
Mitchell and Will had to wait their turn for a train to chew on
Wasn't long and Jack had to be part of it all with his princess skirt on..must be dress code now to play trains
At dinner we had a little party and Lexie got her "My Little Pony" cake
Cute soup
Thirsty work this bath play
Mitchell and Will had great laughs during the day,but after the bath it was time to head home again till next time!
Birthday morning began at 7:30am and it was time to pucker up for the first birthday kiss from lil bro and find some pressie's!!!
Breakfast time and the request was pancake's
with an attempt to overload with syrup
"l hope you plan to do all this for my 1st birthday"
More presents and they were hand delivered but Ma Ma and Pa who also came over for the day, Sunday. She is always going to look good thanks to Aunty Laura,Uncle Steve and Toby
Aunty Relle,Uncle Sami and Alara bring the rock out in her
Card from Nanny and Poppy and so sure she can read it on her own
Time for another pony cake
Day after and a song on the new guitar,
Looking Adorable.
We didn't get to spend alot of time with friend's on Sunday so a cake for morning tea and a play in the park with friend's was ideal during the week.
