Easter!!

It was a jammed packed April with family visiting for their holiday's and Easter. Tamara,Lindsay and the boy's arrived first then a few day's later Mum and Dad. Even though they are not in order of event, hopefully the picture's still show just how much fun was had!
Easter morning was early but lots of chocolate and bubbles made it all worth while. Mitchell," Do l really get to eat this all Mum?"
The terrific trio (TT) wait patiently for their Easter surprise
In the quietness of Easter evening we thought the kids were settled down after the overload of chocolate only to hear a rumbling of chocolate wrapper's again and look to see it's Mitchell this time finishing off an egg and not a small one at that.
It was a messy situation but a proud one for the lad.
Egg hunt time and Mitchell getting his fair share
Little tote in hand
The more mature chose to bask in the sunshine
The Heiny's
The Jobby's
Making time for man-time occurred alot for these two. Lindsay and Mitchell go over the Bunnings catalogue before the visit to the big green shed
TT enjoy what else Bunnings have to offer

Mitchell doing the right thing and that is keeping the 5th child safe, Dad's video camera
It went over the bridge and past the "local".
TT waited for the fire sirens to ring Good Friday morning to drop their dollar's in for the appeal
All rugged up and ready to sail the river (Lindsay had the kiddes keeping him warm alot)
Didnt take much for Mitchell to find the ZZZZs whilst on the trip
We found a spot and had lots of helper to find fire wood for the camp fire
Oh the serenity...
After a chilli day out on sea, time for warm bath and party...
"Who's you say?" Ryan did wish it was his,but no
Party did almost get put on hold by Shaun the Sheep but no someone was eager to get it started and that was.............................
Zachy!!! Big 3. Well it was only a week early
Zachy on his birthday throne and presentations from Ryan and Lexie
Presents and FINALLY he gets his own sprayer, a very happy boy now
All set for outside now, John Deere wipper snipper should do a good job. So glad we could celebrate with Zachy and have them visit. Thankyou for coming Jobby's!!!

Weekend Away!

Earlier in the month l was able to catch up with some of the girls from up north. l flew to Brisbane and got picked up there before we all headed to the Gold Coast for a girly weekend.
We stayed at a hotel that was above all the shops which was very convenient.
It was on the 41st floor which was an amazing view
Sarah however didn't feel the same.
Time to glam up and enjoy our dinner's without little finger's and bibs involved.
Breakfast and there was no need to share (if we didn't want to)
Alot of "lounging"about
and watching DVD'S,reading etc
And of course shopping too.
Sarah and l even had a quick visit to a studio for some "extra" facial accessories.
l realised just how much l miss the beach and the girl's. l was very blessed and thankyou to you lovely Ladies for all you did to get me there. Hope to see you again soon!!!!

Long Weekend in Adelaide!

Earlier in the month we had our labour day holiday. This worked in well as we also had a wedding to go to in Adelaide, so again we packed up and were up and off bright and early.
We spent the Saturday at Glenelg beach and the day could not have been more perfect.
Our little cherubs loved it too
Got to watch and listen to some of the Oz volleyball championships
Somebody should be asleep but.....mmmmm not...peek a boo!
Great day for swimming but not so much when you swimming with sting-rays (dark shadow left of picture)
Time for a snack and play in the mall and water spouts
Again someone should be asleep but....mmmm not. (poor mate he wanted to ride too)
Saturday night, before the big day, we went and hung out with Matt and Sally (bride and groom) and old school mates of Nathan's.
Didn't take long and the old school adventures and stories were out. ALOT of laughter and mean alot. Poor Bordertown teachers!!
Sunday and all dressed for the evening ahead
And here she comes....
Matt's sister's did the reading and big hand to Jenna (blonde one) who had just had a baby late on the Friday night, and a c-section too. Very brave young lady there but good on her for her bro.
Nath and Ryan full of giggles
Marriage celebrants idea of marketing
Reception was lovely by the lake and sunset, amazing for them!
The spunky MC who did yet another fab job at it!!!!
Alex and Josh, the best best men apparently
They were awesome cupcakes, can you tell
Josh and Jodie
The Lads!!!
Monday morning was very lazy and a late start for some. The kids didn't go to the wedding and the boy's were keen to see/meet them so we stopped by Ryan's before we started home again.
Mitchell with good old Alex. A big thankyou to Ma Ma and Pa who came across from the farm to look after our cherub's. mmmmmmmmwah
