Coffs Harbour!

After Christmas we were able to spend a fantastic week in Coffs Harbour.
Every day was perfect for the beach and loads of swimming in the pool till late.
The resort we stayed at had the ocean within walking distance.
Nothing like the fresh salt air to end a great year!

Afternoon walk in the reserve below the resort.

As a guest you can hire canoes so off we float!!

"No one touch my shapes!"
Nath and l were treated to morning walks together along the beach and for a coffee stop every morning. (Thanks Nan and Pop)

Perfect view!

To all you haters out there!! Gotta love a selfie!
Mitch had been waiting a long time for an excuse to get his shirt off....
Like Father like Son!
Nath and Dad left their "Nanna driving" in the carpark one afternoon and lived up speed!

New Years Eve dinner at the resort restaurant
Can't beat a drumstick for dessert and walk along the beach
Lex and Mitch creating their own fireworks like on the TV

Christmas!

After a pretty bad and hard going week leading up to Christmas we were all packed, ready and excited to head up to Gunnedah for Smith Christmas!
It was a lovely few days away at Lake Keepit Rec Park. Weather was perfect to match.
Kids enjoyed catching up, swimming and never leaving Pop and Nans sight often.
Adults enjoyed not doing much at all and having the change of scenery.

After a 5am start we had made it to Gunnadeh.

Kids were pretty over it though...
Christmas Eve and it was time for those who have birthdays just before to exchange their gifts.

Huge smiles for huge Lego fans.

GOOD MORNING CHRISTMAS DAY!

Close your eyes! ooo the anticipation!

The glimpse of love between these two!

We got them a karaoke machine...watch out X factor we have some little stars in the making!
The aftermath of the Heinrich and Jobling house
Feeding time at the Zoo and Uncle Lindsay had it all sorted with the fruit loop distribution
Ready for church
After church we went back to Alyce and Pete's house for a very yummy morning tea that she prepared.

Typical boys-stacks on!

Typical girls- drawing....

We don't get to see these Smithys much. Love that my older bro had all his boys with mullets for my benefit!
