Melbourne Weekend!

We spent a nice weekend in Melbourne not long ago.
We stayed with Uncle Trevor and Aunty Heather.
We were even fortunate to catch up with Cousin Carly and her little girl Alysa on the Saturday night.
Lexie and Alysa had a blast together, playing angels, barbie's etc Abit of down time watching a dvd
Bath time
Story time with Aunty Heather
and cuddles before bed
On the Sunday we went into the city and watched Essendon bet St Kilda.
It was awesome and Lexie loved the atmosphere
At one stage both Lexie and Nathan were yelling out
"Go Bomber's".Not good for poor U.Trev and A.Heather who are St Kilda fan's.
A very happy pair after the game
The best score we have seen "live"
Waiting patiently with every man and his dog at Southern cross station to go home
Thanks for a great weekend Uncle Trevor and Aunty Heather.
So nice to see you again and can't wait till next time.

Mum and Dad Visit!

Mum and Dad got a taste of the retirement life by taking a road trip to visit us in July.
We had a great time with them and tried to jam pack as much as possible into their stay. l didn't get alot of proof of the stay but we have alot of "video" footage.hahaha and of course memories
On the first day we literally took a drive down memory lane.
We went to Finley for the day with a short stop at Tocumwal along the way to see the "big fish" and old park we would play at. (Old picture of the big fish) Whilst Mum and Dad were here Mum celebrated another year wiser. We celebrated with Mum's brother and his wife from Melbourne (Trevor and Heather) ,old friends from Griffith (Mike and Audrey) and Ma and Pa all coming across for a dinner and cake. Lexie of course needed to taste test before eating! Two mighty big puffs and the candles were out
Lexie with her very precious grandmothers!
The proud "grandies" with their princess!
The rest of the trip consisted of a day trip to Bendigo for shopping.
An afternoon along the Port of Echuca eating ice-cream and of course looking at the shop's.Nath and Dad going to hardware and blokey shop's whilst us ladies shop and just general relaxing and enjoying eachother's company, ah nice!
Thanks for coming Nanny and Poppy,
there is always a bed waiting for you both after the long drive!
