Ocean Grove Holiday!

So the week after Easter we headed for a holiday. Ocean Grove was our destination and we were greeted on arrival to a beautiful day....not. Freezing cold, raining and windy. Not a good start but thank goodness we were blessed with better weather there after. Our friends Tim and Kate joined us for the week too and survived holidaying with the 2 of our kids!
The view from our holiday house balcony. Looking to Barwon  Heads.
Hmmmmm questionable weather indeed. Looking straight out to Antarctica.

We always manger to make fun though. Poor Mitchell was too "large" to fit in the picture.
Being able to cook at home was great, where it was alot warmer.brrrrrr
Day trip to Geelong for sight seeing, shopping and the museums (Ford vehicle and Wool)
Of course had to find some good parks along the way
The view from the Sorrento ferry
Mitchell's desire to "swim with the dolphins"
He loved Mr Tim's hat
Coming into Sorrento
First stop, lunch in the sun!
To walk off lunch it was to the beach and what an awesome view, worth the massive walk.
Stilllllllllllll a wee bit chilli for some!!
Perfect day's were on their way and we snapped it up super quick.
Our beach side personal pamper (leg exfoliate)
And pretty much this was what we did at night. Boys watched footy, girls relaxed about in our funky spot PJs and kids played connect 4!

Easter 2012!

Well it has been awhile now and you are probably thinking that we have fallen off the planet!
No No No, just lazy at updating the blog. This new layout has taken me a awhile to figure out.
Anyway Easter! Here is what us little Heinys got up to!
Enjoyed an awesome meal cooked for us on Good Friday. It was as good as it looks!

Easter Sunday morning and Lexie on the recorder whistling away and Mitchell with his hand in the chocolates already.
Daddy said that the Easter egg hunt was after he had finished his jobs, so these two drilled holes in him with there patience!
And we are off and racing!!
Go Go gadget arms!!
Even had time to stop for a cuddle. Mitchell had his bounty sorted.

Trip to the Farm!

It had been long over-due for a visit to the farm, so with the long weekend we took up the chance.
The three days were spent doing as much as we could with family.
It was great!!!
Saturday was at Matt and Kara's. The three bookworms. Mitchell was with the adults, where the food was...typical
The school chickens had alot of love.
Mitchell thought they were pretty funny and at any chance wanted to pick them up but otherwise happy to let them run around his hand. Made us think of getting some ourselves.(Tyson might like the "treat")
So adorable.
Din dins time for young
and old.
Masterpiece time
Cute soup quickly turned to Yuk soup
The Bonds wondersuit buddies
Postman Pat entertained for a lonnnnnnng time
Sunday and it was Steve and Laura's home to invade
Charlie the cat got alot of pats and cuddles from the animal loving Mitch.
She reminded us of Nanny and Pops dear Abby cat that died last year.
Time for a hair cut and with an audience it made it more fun for Toby,
And of course with the chance to talk to yourself in the mirror. Why not.
All done and well worth the reward. Back to playing.
After some very yummy Chinese for dinner, cuppa and slice with Old Pa
Monday before packing up and going home, it was tradition to get some "groove time" in!
Thankyou for a heap more fun family!!!!!
