April Adventures!

At the beginning of April we had our special visitors from up North...
NANNY AND POPPY!!!
Getting to see Poppy again so soon was a real treat.
However the month didn't end the best way possible but we have all survived to tell the tale...just.

Getting ready to head off to the farm for Easter. Not before some dress-ups and a check of the bounty.
We arrive to all tents up and campfire burning. Was a lovely weekend with much to celebrate-Easter of course plus our 11yr Wedding Anniversary, Aunty Kara's Birthday and getting to meet our new nephew Davy Liam Excell. However it all changed Sunday morning after Lexie broke her leg coming off her bike.

Three generations of good looking Heinrichs

Back home and Lexie is alot more comfortable now she has a hot pink cast on her leg.

As soon as Mrs Kate heard she brought around a bag of goodies to cheer Lexie up. Including a Bombers cake ready for Anzac day.(a hard purchase considering Kate is Collingwood)

Even a special gift for the helper little brother.

Very blessed by these guys-flowers and all.

Getting back to normal

Doodle time!

Everyone at school has been very supportive of Lexie and peers in her classroom fight over who will be her helper everyday. Lots of letters, pictures, loom bands etc.Her teacher even got her up in front of the whole school at assembly and awarded her the PBIS-(Positive Behaviour In School) for her Resilience and Determination during this tough time. We are very proud of our brave Princess.

Marvellous March!

Into March now and that was yet another big month
with adventures and special memories made with both family and friends.
Poppy and his brother Geoff flew down to Victoria for the 100yr celebration of RAAF Airshow.
They invited us along and it was a perfect day. Kids loooooved seeing Poppy.

I have flying in my blood so when Nathan met me it was something that was bound to rub off and now he's hooked.
The boys loved looking around at all the old but BIG aircraft's. Mitch found it abit loud but Nanny helped us out there with appropriate ear wear.

No time spent with Poppy is without a box of Crimpy Chickens and its "opening ritual".

Time to eat!!

Mitch took a real shine to Uncle Geoff-feeling was mutual l think.

Along with big planes were BIG ice-creams

We all had a fantastic time and so happy we got to be part of an airshow that may not happen again.

Mitchell is so proud of his Pre-School and they had a fundraiser one night where he got his face painted for the first time.

Thrilled..

We had the pleasure of looking after our friend Ollie one day. Boys eat and play that's it l say.

It was Special Persons day at Pre-School and we thought Daddy would be working so we organised Ollie and Mrs Kate to be there but Daddy surprised Mitch and came too.

"Lets make a rocket Ollie?"
